Quality Thrives – Inspiration and Motivation for Startups and Entrepreneurs

Sounds like a long road ahead; over 8000 miles long in fact. Have you any cheeky plans to do some sightseeing while you’re on the road?
“Of course! In fact, one of our first stops on the trip will be at the Appalachian Mountains in Tennessee. Bryndan went on a solo hiking trip there a few years ago and we’re excited to take the trip together. We’ve also been compiling a list for the past few months of
amazing sight-seeing places that are within our route, so we hope to have time to see a few of those.”
Sounds like you have the map laid out in front, but back to business; How are you going to distribute your material?
“We’re distributing our materials in quite a few different ways - mainly using social media platforms and our website. First, we upload the teaser interview to Youtube (which is about 2-3 minutes long and specifically made to trigger feelings of inspiration), and promote it via Facebook and Twitter. Once we officially launch on October 10th, we’ll then start linking each teaser to a designated page on our website that has the full interview, photos from the interview, as well as a blog post about the interviewee and their business. We just recently hired a social media marketer to help us determine the best distribution method for what we’re specifically doing, so I wouldn’t be surprised if those plans change down the road.
For future distribution - we’ll be releasing a book that contains photos and insightful quotes from all 250 of our interviewees.”
This is a huge venture for a startup, Have you given any thought on how you’re going to fund it?
“We’ll primarily be using our savings and the money we continue to make doing freelance. We’re also seeking donations through our Indiegogo campaign (running until September 16th) and we’re really hoping to meet our goal of raising $4,000, as it would allow us to have a decent amount of stability while we’re getting used to this new minimalistic travel-life.”
Any success so far?
“So far on our Indiegogo campaign, we’re up to $1,381. We’re continuing to promote as hard as we can (without being completely spammy) so we’re hoping to gain some more supporters during these last 15 days.”
It’s been a pleasure, but before we let you go, we have to ask; what are your plans for the future of “Quality Thrives”?
“In a perfect world, we’d really like to take this project overseas. Inspiration is universal and we can’t even imagine how many more wonderful stories we’d capture by going beyond US grounds! For more solid future plans, our book release is definitely at the forefront.”
