HR DataHub

Bedfordshire-based HR tech startup HR DataHub has built a range of tools for HR departments to make better decisions and to compare their departments and companies against others to better gauge their performance.

It’s no secret that HR is a hugely important part of a company. The department drives employee success and overall company prosperity through its careful selection of new talent and training. But arguably its greatest importance lies in fostering a positive work environment, ensuring fair employment practices, establishing and enforcing policies that promote employee well-being, inclusivity and diversity, and generally fostering a harmonious workplace.

While the name itself, human resources, might not sound like the department is on the side of the employees, a good HR department should be a safe placeHR DataHub that people can go to raise any kind of issues they are having and have conflicts resolved. It is a core part of maintaining the wellbeing of both company and workforce. So shouldn’t that department have the best possible tools to do their job?

Bedfordshire-based HR tech startup HR DataHub has built a range of tools for HR departments to make better decisions and to compare their departments and companies against others to better gauge their performance.

They can compare against various metrics including pay, employee retention, acquisition, and diversity, among 150+ others, and they can do so against local companies or those within the same sector in general. This helps provide better insights, create benchmarks, and use real-world data to improve all aspects of the workplace.

Recently, HR DataHub announced they had raised £1.4 million in funding from the MEIF Proof of Concept & Early Stage Fund, Mercia’s EIS funds, the Angel Co-Fund, and from private investors. This funding will go towards expanding the business, with the goal of tripling their staff over the next 18 months. As well as this, they intend to grow their client base over the next 5 years from the current 160 - which includes names such as Marks & Spencer, Michelin, Aviva, and many other recognisable brands - to at least 500.
