INTRODUCTION
Welcome to our website. DEFINITIONS
The term ‘Startacus’ or ‘us’ or ‘we’ or ‘our’ refers to the owner of the ‘website’ who trades as The Employable Ltd. In this document, "we", "our", or "us" refer to Startacus, trading as The Employable. We are company number NI609106, registered in N. Ireland. The term ‘you’ and ‘your’ refers to the user or ‘users’, member or ‘members’ or ‘viewer’ or ‘viewers’ of our website.
The term ‘Collaborator’ or ‘ Collaborators’ refers to a ‘member’ who engages with another ‘member’ in the development of a ‘project’ or ‘idea’.
The term ‘Admin’ refers to a ‘user’ or ‘member’ who has Administrator permission levels on a Board.
The term ‘Manager’ refers to a ‘user’ or ‘member’ who has Manager permission levels on a Board.
The ‘website’ or ‘site’ means http://www.startacus.net.
‘Profile’ means the information and details submitted and attached by the ‘member’ that is viewable by other ‘users’ or ‘members’ or ‘viewers’.
‘Project’ or ‘idea’ refers to any submission or proposal that a ‘member’ initiates or makes via the ‘collaboration’ section.
‘Board’ means the designated area within the site where the ‘collaboration’ between ‘members’ on the development of a ‘project’ or ‘idea’ takes place.
‘Collaboration’ means the engagement and interaction between ‘members’ in relation to the development of a ‘project or ‘idea’.
‘Intellectual Property Rights’ means any unregistered and registered trademarks, service marks, copyright and related rights and unregistered and registered designs.
‘NDA’ means a Non-Disclosure Agreement entered into between one ‘member’ and another ‘member’ in relation to the development and ‘collaboration’ of a ‘project or ‘idea’.

A ‘member’ acknowledges that any ‘Project’ or ‘Idea’ submitted to the ‘website’ shall be subject to these Terms and Conditions. We reserve the right to revise these Terms and Conditions at our sole discretion, from time to time.
‘We’ shall review each ‘Project’ or ‘Idea’ upon submission to the site and we reserve the right to accept or reject any ‘Project’ or ‘Idea’.
A ‘member’ shall be notified in the event of a ‘Project’ or ‘Idea’ being accepted or rejected.
‘We’ shall not be required to give any reasons for our acceptance or rejection of a ‘Project’ or ‘Idea’ and a ‘member’ shall not be entitled to query or challenge any such acceptance or rejection.
Any ‘Idea’ or ‘Project’ submitted by a ‘member’ should not breach or violate the privacy and/or Intellectual Property Rights, or any other rights of any third party
It is ‘Our’ policy not to tolerate any forms of IP infringement or any attempts to breach or violate the privacy and/or IP rights of any other third party based on the laws of Northern Ireland, England, Scotland and Wales and we reserve the right to undertake investigation should such infringement, breaching or violation occur.
A ‘member’ agrees to keep ‘us’ indemnified against any and all claims of infringement of IP rights brought by a third party as a result of the member’s use of the site in any capacity.
This ‘Website’ and all IP rights in respect to the ‘Website’ and Website Content are owned by ‘us’, excluding any IP rights owned by or belonging to any partners, sponsors, advertisers or licensors of this ‘website’.
The submission of an ‘idea’ or ‘project’ may help in providing confirmation of dates when an ‘idea’ or a ‘project’ was added to the ‘website’ but does not represent or confirm that the ownership or idea is protected or has any IP rights.
‘We’ are not responsible for ensuring or determining the terms, or the conditions of terms that ‘members’ ‘collaborate’ on. Whilst ‘we’ advocate the use of ‘NDA’ and the safeguarding and protection of ‘IP’, all responsibility for any information given or disclosed via the ‘website’ is at the discretion and responsibility of the ‘member’ themselves. Any ‘idea’ or ‘project’ disclosure is at the ‘member’s’ own risk. Any support offered to or ‘collaboration’ undertaken or agreed to with regards to an ‘idea’ or ‘project’ by ‘collaborators’ is offered at the ‘member’s’ own risks.
The ownership of the ‘Idea’ or ‘Project’ remains with the ‘member’ who submitted the ‘idea’ or ‘project’ to the ‘website’ unless otherwise agreed by ‘members’ involved in the ‘collaboration’.
A ‘Collaborator’ will respect the terms outlined by the ‘member’ who submitted the ‘idea’ or ‘project’, including the use of ‘NDA’ and/or other confidentiality agreements or terms.
A ‘member’ will not initiate, join or actively participate in a ‘collaboration’ unless they agree to the ‘site’s’ overall Terms and Conditions and will respect the good nature and integrity of the ‘site’ at all times.

At Startacus we have always been committed to ensuring that your personal data is safe and secure, and the GDPR does not change our commitment to you in this regard.
