CliniShift awarded upSTART startup pitch title at Digital DNA 2018

CliniShift wins the upSTART startup pitch title at Digital DNA for 2018, battling off against 24 other disruptive UK, NI and Irish startups.
The European-wide startup pitch competition – organised and hosted by leading startup publication, community and platform Startacus (that's us) – saw Clinishift win £5k in cash along with a whole host of other prizes.
The 9 upSTART judges of Angela Duffy, Venture Investment Lead at NDRC, Jess McMaghan, Head of Brand at L Marks, Marko Srsan, Program Director of Techstars London, Jeremy Biggerstaff, MD of Flint Studios, Mike Burke, Partner in the Washington, DC office of Arnall Golden Gregory LLP, Mary McKenna, Tech Entrepreneur & Angel Investor, Ciara Lagan, Partner of Tughans Solicitors, Hugo De Stacpoole,Campaigns Associate of Seedrs, and Dave Anderson, Director of Technology at Liberty Information Technology selected CliniShift, a HealthTech company that provides mobile app solution for nurses and doctors & staffing solution for the health care sector in Ireland and internationally, after a two round pitch battle.
CliniShift beat off completion from 24 other disruptive pitching startups, including runner-up Scott Martin, founder of fellow HealthTech startup AiPatient, which seeks to improve the quality, accessibility, and affordability of medical training worldwide, through artificial intelligence. aiPatient had just completed AccelerateME, the pre-seed accelerator for students and graduates from University of Manchester.
Aimee Madden, the founder and CEO of Clinishift, said: “I feel very proud and humble to have won amongst such stiff competition. Clinishift and aiPatient were joined in the final round of 6 pitches by startups Bookaxe, Importwise, Travaplan, and StoryTracks.
