“Transformational social enterprises” are given a helping hand via this fund which is the social investment arm of The Big Issue. The organisation actually merged with the Social Enterprise Loan Fund earlier this year and now offers loans and investments to social enterprises and charities from £50,000 to £1 million.

Social enterprises, charities and community organisations can all get support from this “ethical bank” which provides charity loans from £50,000 - £1 million. The bank is directly supported by depositors and investors who want their money to be used to help facilitate real social change, whilst earning a financial return.
