The Ireland Funds Business Plan Competition 2017 In partnership with NDRC
For the past six years the Ireland Funds Business Plan Competition has been helping to nurture the creativity and business skills of Ireland-based early-stage technology entrepreneurs.
They will give successful candidates the opportunity to develop their business ideas and compete for the opportunity pitch for cash prizes, business support, and a place on one of NDRC’s investment programmes.

What’s this all about?
Global fundraising network The Ireland Funds has partnered with the National Digital Research Centre (NDRC) to help budding entrepreneurs bring their idea from concept to pitch ready!
Prizes for the Winner
The winner of the competition will be given a €10,000 cash prize as well as the opportunity to pitch for a place on one of NDRC’s investment programmes. NDRC is Ireland’s most successful digital accelerator, specifically designed to enable entrepreneurial teams to transform solid ideas into commercially viable startups.
Prizes for the Runners-up
€5,000 cash prize (first runner-up)
€1,000 cash prize (second runner-up)
All finalists will receive detailed feedback on their business ideas and pitches from the NDRC Venture Investment Team and Judging Panel.
Making your application
If you want to apply for this opportunity, you’ll need to do so before noon on Tuesday, 13th June. From the businesses which apply 10 will be given mentoring and support from the experts at NDRC. This will include a series of workshops during June, July and August with the opportunity to compete to pitch for a place on one of NDRC’s highly sought-after investment investment programmes, €16,000 in prize money and other support.
Are you Eligible?
If you’re under the age of 35 years at the time of application, a resident in Northern Ireland or the Republic of Ireland and your business is at a pre-investment stage, this might be the opportunity for you.
Specifically, the team is looking for 3 things:
1. A technology/digital proposition.
2. Global scalability potential.
3. A Team (must be more than one person)
