My project is ... futureCoders provides rich work experience for budding young software developers, producing beautiful apps for charities and non-profits
A little bit about me:
I have a very new non-for-profit startup called futureCoders. We develop software (mobile and web apps) for charity/non-profit/social start-up clients at affordable prices and offer rich work-experience to full-time college students.
Our model is to get college students to work alongside a professional developer on real projects two days per week while they are still in full-time education. We partner with employers to find opportunities for our young people to progress straight into the industry after at least six months on the programme, preferably into a higher level, or degree, apprenticeship.
