A little bit about me:
As a mum of 3 young children I came up with my idea, the IDME wristband for children with my husband Ryan when our eldest was almost 3 - too big for the buggy and too young to be trusted. Having lost him more than once due to his wandering ways, every minute he was missing felt more like an hour, I knew there and then there had to be a quicker way for someone to contact me once he was found if he ever ran off again.
I am passionate about child safety and believe we should do everything in our power to ensure our children get to enjoy their childhood for as long as possible.
IDME was founded to help protect our most precious assets, our children.
It’s comfortable and colorful and it carries emergency contact and identity information that could protect your child.
Every parent knows how easy it is to lose sight of a child while out in public places, IDME was set up in June 2012 and is an identity wristband and is the response to the hugely stressful scenario that involves children being separated from their parents or guardians without any form of identification. Most parents can tell you of a time where their children had been lost or wandered off, or that their child is high risk due to allergies to food or medication, all high anxiety and stressful experiences.
IDME is the next step in improving the safety of our children. What IDME offers is extra security and lifesaving information with our wristbands and the peace of mind in knowing that our children will have that crucial, potentially lifesaving information always at hand, providing contact details for immediate recovery, as well as to profile their medical requirements if needed.
