Zaptic aims to digitise the management of frontline operations

We are liking the look of...Zaptic
There is a gap in enterprise technology. Digital transformations have created digital customers, but not perhaps digital workers and processes.
Step forward Zaptic, a Manchester based SaaS startup who are aiming to offer a productive, collaborative and digital solution to communicate and manage frontline workers and operations.
For the frontline workforce, Zaptic brings all the information and tools required to perform daily activities into one friendly mobile application, while giving head office, tools to create & distribute the process they want to be executed in the field.
Out goes, PDFs, employee handbooks, SOP manuals, and miscommunicated line manager messages and to-do lists, and in comes a ‘process cloud’ for the frontline workforce, where businesses manage and improve the execution of their frontline processes.
Zaptic enables its clients, which operate predominantly in the consumer goods and retail industry, to schedule and assign activities to specific team members and locations.
Team members then receive action alerts and are guided through activities, with employers being able to track activity progress, identify inefficiencies and update processes. Simples.
Richard Milnes, Founder and CEO of Zaptic, explained to Startacus:
“As a team we're obsessed with building a very friendly, millennial generation app experience to improve the engagement and productivity of the frontline workforce. We have a team of engineers experienced in gaming and friendly UX, combined with system architects equipped with a deep understanding of the complex needs of a large enterprise. A core premise of Zaptic is the marriage of these two worlds; friendly UX and flexibility for the enterprise.”
And the good news is that investors are liking it too, and a few weeks ago Zaptic bagged a reported seven figure investment from three season tech investors in Nicolas Berggruen, Hank Vigil and Charlie Songhurst.
We wish founder Richard Milnes and all the team well and look forward to hearing more about their SaaS startup as they continue on the Zaptic journey.
