Workbounce - the co-pilot for customer-facing teams.

by Startacus Admin
The lowdown on London-based startup Workbounce and its ‘Google meets Slack’ collaborative solution for sales teams.
More than ever, sales teams are having to interact with potential customers and clients virtually rather than in person, which can make their job harder. Added to this is that fact that the more complex a product you are selling, the more information you will have at hand, but most businesses have trouble keeping all of this information in one, easy to search place, adding to the trouble of a salesperson trying to answer a few dozen questions without losing that potential customer’s faith.
With information changing constantly as other teams improve the product and release new features and inevitably failing to keep the customer-facing team fully up to date on everything, there needs to be a better way of gaining quick access to all of this knowledge, without trawling through numerous documents and tools.
London-based startup Workbounce has created what it calls ‘Google meets Slack’ for sales teams. It is built as a remote-first solution, allowing close collaboration between widespread teams; a single hub for all of the tools that the team uses, providing access to the entirety of knowledge held by the company with ease and speed. Integrating everything from Chrome, to Slack, to the Google suite of tools, to Salesforce, and customisable with any other browser-based tools you use, Workbounce allows you to stop using multiple windows with a hundred tabs and instead turn to a one-stop platform from which to quickly and easily find anything you need within the company.
In March, Workbounce raised $2.7 million in funding in a round led by Index Ventures, with participation from angel investors. They find themselves in good company in Index Ventures’ portfolio, which includes other names like Zendesk, Discord, and Dropbox. This funding will help the startup take full advantage of the increase in uptake of platforms like Workbounce, and to further develop it into the one platform that a sales team can’t do without.
