In London later this week and interested in learning how AI can help startups scale? Book your ticket now for this free event from Women in AI featuring a panel of industry experts discussing just that.
Women in AI proudly present their very first free startup community event taking place at Wayve located in North London on Thursday 29th September 2022.
Women in AI is a nonprofit working towards a gender-inclusive AI that benefits global society, with a mission to increase female representation and participation in AI.
This event will present an interactive discussion on how AI can help startups scale alongside a panel of industry experts, namely:
- Oana Jinga - CEO of Bots Are US
- Florian Richter - CEO of Muddy Machines
- Na’ama Zahavi – Product Lead at Wayve
The conversation will hone in on the major challenges that smaller companies face and how AI can help to resolve these and unblock scalability focusing on manufacturing and agtech startups.
The event is taking place at Wayve's headquarters in London. Founded in 2017, Wayve is on a mission to reimagine autonomous mobility through embodied intelligence. Wayve’s global team is leveraging AI and data to pioneer AV2.0, a next-generation autonomous driving system that can quickly and safely adapt to new driving domains anywhere in the world. The company is showcasing the promise of its AI-powered self-driving vehicles via daily testing on public roads across the UK. Major businesses like Microsoft and Virgin have invested in Wayve, and the company has signed commercial partnerships with Ocado Group, Asda and DPD to trial its AV technology on their delivery fleets.
"We are delighted to partner with Women in AI (UK) and support their mission to create inclusive AI that benefits society. It's important for us to work with organisations that empower women to become AI and data innovators. We look forward to taking part in their upcoming event at Wayve’s London office." says Na'ama Zahavi who is Product Lead for Data at Wayve and one of the panelists at the event.
“AI is now at the core of most tech-enabled companies. For large players, it’s predominantly about reinventing their operational model, and for startups it’s an opportunity to efficiently and creatively get ahead of the game. We are excited to learn from the founders and product owners that are making these critical decisions now and discuss their experience on AI implementation and its potential to influence growth", adds Maria Vasileva, Women in AI UK's Partnerships and Startup Lead.
