Win a ticket to Dublin’s Web Summit via Startacus!

by Startacus Admin
Many tech / startup themed events flatter to deceive - in fact Startacus have been to a few.
But when you say. ‘Dublin. Web. Summit’ (ideally in that order), the ears prick up. You can’t help but think it’s a little different, there’s no need for much of a media spin - but an awful lot bigger and more special. So when the good folk at the Web Summit offered two Startacus members the chance to win a ticket to the 2014 Web Summit (happening 4th-6th November) we we were over the moon...or summit perhaps.
Back in 2010, Web Summit began as an informal meet-up of 450 members of the tech community in Dublin. By 2013, 10,242 attendees had come from all over the globe including business leaders from Google, Microsoft, Facebook, Box and over 60% of the Fortune 500.
Within three years it had become the most influential and international tech event in Europe. The Web Summit 2013 showcased 250+ world renowned speakers, 1,000 exhibitors, 100 satellite events and the opening of the Nasdaq market live on stage. 2014 will no doubt be bigger and better.
Not that it’s all about the big stuff - Startacus’ review of Web Summit 2013, highlighted that it was the small touches that make it just as fab and standout.
So the competition then...
Well, in a nutshell, Web Summit are offering 2 lucky folk the opportunity to win 1 ticket to this year’s Dublin Web Summit. Simples.
Bearing in mind that Forbes is quoted on the home page of the Web Summit site saying “The new hot ticket on the tech conference scene” and the tickets whilst not cheap certainly warrant their £1,000+ price-tag, we reckon this giveaway is just fantastic.
So - interested in winning? Here’s what you’ve got to do…
First up, you have to be a signed up Startacus member to win a ticket.
And don’t panic if you are not already (we find this hard to believe!) then you’ve got the duration of the competition to sign up.
