by Startacus Admin
Are you a young UK based entrepreneur or wannapreneur with a fab idea for an app, a game, or a
technology business? If so, you might want to know about The F Factor, the startup competition for 14-25 year old UK entrepreneurs with a chance to win £10,000.
Care of the Founders Forum and thanks to their competition sponsor TalkTalk, 5 young bright superstar UK-based entrepreneurs (individuals or teams) are being given the chance to win £10,000 to help develop their business idea- no strings attached.
With an aim to empower young people who might otherwise not have access to inspirational investors or world-class technology experts, entrants don't need to have a business plan or have any relevant experience.
All you need is a project you've been working on for at least 3 months and loads of enthusiasm to persuade the Founders Forum to invest in you and your new business.
As well as the cash prize of £10,000, the finalists will also get the chance to meet and pitch to some of the most amazing venture capitalists and business founders in the world.
Entrants, aged between 14 and 25, must submit an original idea (in 140 characters or less) for a new technology business, plus a short selfie video about themselves to impress the judges (this can be filmed on a smartphone or via web cam).
The deadline for applications is Friday, May 25th, 2018.
The 5 finalists must be available to attend Founders Forum in London on Thursday, June 14th, 2018 and also be required to attend a workshop day on Saturday, June 2nd, 2018 where you will receive expert help in pitching your idea. Good luck to all that apply.
