Ways to Become Self-Employed and Travel the World

by Startacus Admin
Want to be your own boss and earn some money whilst travelling? Here are a few ways to do just that...
Becoming self-employed and travelling the world is a dream that many people have. It is not easy to achieve, but it can be done with enough determination and hard work.
The first step toward becoming self-employed and travelling the world is to think about what you want. Do you want to do something that you love doing? Or are you going to work for someone else so that you can get some money?
Once you have decided on what you want, it is time to start planning how to start earning money while still travelling. There are several ways that you can do this, including:
Play Musical Instruments
If you are a musician, the world is your oyster. There are a lot of opportunities for musicians to travel and make money from their skills. If you have the talent and the drive, it is possible to make a living from playing music, even if you still need to become famous.
If you want to become self-employed and travel the world as a musician, there are several ways to go about it:
-
Teach - if you're good at teaching others how to play an instrument like an anglo concertina, consider becoming a teacher! You can teach private lessons or even offer group classes through schools or community centres where there is demand for such services.
-
Play in bands - play with other people and travel with them as they tour the country or internationally. You can also join them on tour as an extra member of the leading performer.
-
Play at festivals - this is especially good if you are a singer or band leader because these events often need performers to fill out their roster of performers. Usually, these festivals do not pay well, but they provide free accommodation or lodging while they take place, so that helps offset costs.
Become a Travel Blogger
Travel blogging is one of the most popular ways to make money from travel. It's also one of the easiest ways to start with self-employment and travel. There are many different types of travel blogs, but travel bloggers generally share their experiences and opinions about other destinations, attractions, hotels, and restaurants.
A big part of what makes this blogging so easy is that most people have something interesting to say about their travels. If you've ever travelled somewhere interesting or had an adventure in another country, sharing your story with the world could be a fun way to earn extra income while travelling.
The most popular form of travel blogging involves writing reviews on places you've visited. You can write these reviews based on your experience visiting the area or by interviewing readers who have seen them before you did. This gives you more control over what you write about and where it's published (i.e., your blog).
Become a Remote Tutor
If you have any knowledge or skill, like playing anglo concertina, that you can impart to others, you can offer your services as a remote tutor. This is an easy way to make money while traveling the world. You can work with people worldwide, helping them gain new skills in your area of expertise. There are plenty of platforms where you can offer your services as a remote tutor and make money while traveling.
You can apply for jobs online and get paid well for your services. These sites have thousands of jobs available, some even allowing you to choose your hours. You can work whenever it suits you best, which is excellent news if you want to travel but want to keep your current job.
