Upgrade Pack to make upgrading flights and hotels a 1st class experience

by Startacus Admin
The lowdown on Upgrade Pack, the FinTech startup that is aiming to provide the ultimate way to upgrade flights and hotels.

Given that most of us are, at least technically, far more loyal to our own employers than we are to a sandwich maker, wouldn’t it be good to have that loyalty rewarded with hugely discounted upgrades?
London-based fintech startup Upgrade Pack thinks so too. Upgrade Pack allows businesses to offer their customers and employees upgrades to flights and hotels. They work with corporate clients to create compelling loyalty mechanics for their most important and highest value customers and employees, and in turn, those become the most important and highest value customers of Upgrade Pack’s travel partners.
Saving users an average of 15-35%, Upgrade Pack connects directly to a closed marketplace of airlines and hotels, giving users access to exclusive, live upgrades to seats and rooms.
For employees, this can help improve the life part of their work-life balance, whilst nurturing a greater fondness for their employer. And a well-rested employee is a more productive employee! For customers, it makes them feel particularly valued or, at the very least, they will be less inclined to look elsewhere because of the benefits of being your customer.
In April, Upgrade Pack’s £500,000 Seedrs campaign was oversubscribed after only 5 days, and just a year after launch, they have announced a £1.3 million investment that brings their total funding raised to £3.4 million. This funding is being used to expand their reach, and they have announced two new hubs to that end, in Toronto and Singapore.
We don’t do a lot of travelling, but perhaps next time we do, we might have our feet up in business class.
