Inspiring and ambitious female founders take note - Enterprise Nation's annual Female Startup of the Year competition is open for applications
Female founder? This is for you!
Enterprise Nation, the small business network and business support provider, with support from TSB, is once again on a mission to find the UK’s Female Startup of the Year.
The annual competition is now open for applications from inspiring female entrepreneurs who are leading the way with their innovative startups. Those startups should be less than five years old and employ no more than 10 people, and founders should be able to demonstrate a clear vision and ambition for growth.
Applications must be submitted by 5pm on Wednesday 22nd September. A shortlist of 10 will then be selected and a public vote will determine the three finalists who will each be invited to pitch live at the Festival of Female Entrepreneur's stage in Bristol on Friday 22nd October 2021.
As well as the accolade of Female Startup of the Year, the winner will also receive a whole host of fab prizes aimed at boosting their startup and helping them realise their plans for growth.
Emma Jones, founder of Enterprise Nation, CBE, said: “This competition is a celebration of British female founders, awarding one lucky winner the prestigious title Female Start-up of the Year 2021 and a bundle of business boosting prizes.
“The past 18 months have been challenging for many businesses but entrepreneurs are optimistic by nature and we've been overwhelmed by the determination and resilience shown by the small business community. This is why this year's celebration of the entrepreneurial spirit is even more essential".
