UK National Minimum Wage 2017

Here at Startacus, we understand the pressure that a small business or startup can face, when trying to multitask all the weekly, monthly and yearly paperwork, responsibility and legislation that can come your way, and you must legally comply to. This can be made especially harder when you have a very small team - with a Founder or CEO who also has to cover the responsibility of any accounts, returns, payroll or HR duties that happen to pop up. This alongside the obvious need to make enough money to continue to - well, survive, of course!

Talking of popping up, if you are a UK business and you employ staff, then here’s a wee reminder about UK National Minimum and National Living Wage increases.

As is the tradition - UK National Minimum & National Living Wages increase every April. As it’s the 10th of April, we thought it only fair to give you a gentle nudge to remind you that you should have already applied this increase into both your current and future cashflow forecasts and also into the pockets of your employees at payday from hours worked from the 1st of April onwards.

So to help a little, here’s the screenshot from the Gov.uk website and a handy link to read over all the current details, relevant information and permutations...
