TWIST- Monthly cocktail subscription startup

by Startacus Admin
Less than two weeks ago we premiered our shiny new and improved collaboration space on Startacus - our ‘collaboration 2.0’ if you will. It's a fabulous space where you can add an idea, work on a project and shout out about your startup - as well as receive great support from our community of self-starters, experts and investors.
Needless to say we’ve been bowled over by the amazing array of ideas, projects and startups that have appeared in the space so far…one of which is a rather intriguing little startup called TWIST.
TWIST combines two of our favourite things - cocktails and monthly subscriptions and enables a lovely retro package to be delivered to your door every month. As you will have guessed from this statement (you clever clogs), Twist is a monthly subscription cocktail making kit that gives you all the ingredients and knowhow you will need to make 6 servings of a classic cocktail.
As businesses go TWIST is very young, having only begun life in January of this year, but they are already making waves on the local startup scene and have been mentioned (favourably) in a number of high places including The Evening Standard and The Huffington Post!
Their success serves to confirm something that we here at Startacus have long suspected, that the UK is experiencing a huge, post recession boom in monthly delivery subscription services, just look at some of these that we have featured recently;
Woof-Box- Dog Treat Delivery
Desk Beers- Beer delivery
ToucanBox- Creative activities delivery
Yoosli- Breakfast Muesli Delivery
Empty Pocket Traders- Premium Coffee Delivery
Hello Fresh- Healthy meal ingredients delivery
Graze- Healthy snack delivery
Why not take a look at our newly updated collaboration space, or better yet add your own idea, project or startup!
If you like what you see here on Startacus, why not become a member of our growing community? It's free! And you'll get all this - exclusive access to our Business Toolkit, discounts and offers galore for your business via our member only business deals, the chance to network and connect with loads of fellow self-starters, and maybe even become our celebrated 'Self-Starter of the Week' and tell the world your startup tale!
