by Startacus Admin

Toppa wants to become the Netflix of bitesize learning, by giving subscribers unlimited access to hundreds of hours of bite-sized interactive business courses, downloadable documents, mentoring and training from business experts that have actually 'been there and done it', with the aim of making professional learning fun.
In today’s fast-paced and always connected world, finding the time to learn new skills or keep your skills topped up can be pretty hard going.
Step forward early-stage startup Toppa, who for just £9.99 per month, are aiming to make professional learning fun by giving subscribers unlimited access to hundreds of hours of bite-sized interactive business courses, mentoring and training from proven experts in their fields.
Subscribers will be able to learn or top-up the skills you need, and via their 10-step courses, and in as little as 5 minutes per day, subscribers will be able to learn around their schedules.
Founded by John Loveday & Paul Hood, Toppa has had some good early-stage success including, securing Poundland Founder Steve Smith and leisure Tycoon David Lloyd as Business Partner’s, secured 11 heavyweight entrepreneurs on its executive board and gaining over one million pounds worth of pre-orders.
The Toppa team are now looking for subject matter experts from all sectors to be part of their journey and will also look to conquer the crowd via crowdfunding platform Seedrs, with support from crowdfunding specialists IdeaSquares.
Co-Founder, John Loveday said:
“In today’s fast-paced and always connected world, finding the time to learn new skills or keep your skills topped up can be impossible. As passionate learners ourselves, we felt the world needed a solution to this problem. So we developed Toppa, for just £9.99 per month, Toppa makes professional learning fun by giving individuals unlimited access to hundreds of hours of bite-sized interactive business courses, mentoring and training from proven experts in their field.
We will curate a more reliable, credible and in-depth portfolio of business, leadership & Management tutorials which meets more substantially the demands of those looking to start a business or become a better leader or manager. 100% of our content is exclusive to our platform so people can’t find the same great tutorials elsewhere. While existing elearning platforms have shown themselves to be successful in monetisation models around B2B professional or academic content (Lynda, Udemy, etc.), we think they have been clumsy in bringing credible, high quality business learning into the mix.” Said John
“Our aim is to reach 200,000 subscribers within 2 years of launching, generating us in excess of £1.4 million net profit per month. We are now looking for Toppa Instructors that want to share their skills and knowledge via video tutorials and support us in our mission to give everyone the skills they need to succeed in life and business.” continued Paul
Toppa will give individuals and corporates unlimited access to hundreds of video based courses and legally compliant document templates, enabling them to learn a plethora of new skills. Toppa also aims to fund the university fees for 50 students by 2020.
Toppa have reportedly secured pre orders of over 18,000 subscribers, that will see revenues of over £1million in the first year alone! We look forward to learning how this startup continues to develop and grow.
