Dribble
In its’ own words, Dribble is a ‘show and tell for designers’. Dribble has created a vibrant community of graphic designers, web designers, illustrators and whole bunch of other creative folk who use the platform to share small screenshots of their current projects and work in progress. Not only is the site useful for getting inspiration and discovering new and innovative work, it’s also a great place to promote your own designs and in turn help inspire others.
Smashing
For the last 6 years, Smashing Magazine has been a must-visit site for Web Designers and Developers the world over. From informative and inspirational articles through to features on design resources and tools, the site is literally crammed with all things useful. You can also sign up for their regular newsletter meaning you get a little dose of creative inspiration straight to your inbox every second Tuesday. Who wouldn’t want that!
I love Typography
If you have a passion for all things typographical - from fonts to typefaces, this is the blog for you. With masses of informative and inspirational articles, it is one of the best resources you could use. Perhaps not surprising when you consider the fact that John Boardley, publisher of Codex, the Journal of Typography is the guy behind it all.
The Dieline
If packaging design is your thing, The Dieline is the definitive place to get a little creative inspiration whenever you need it. Featuring everything from articles on the latest trends through to industry related news, there is something for everyone interested in Packaging Design - whether you are a student, industry professional or simply a design enthusiast.
Desigg
If you’re after a more general dash of inspiration, Desigg is the place. It showcases some of the best design out there - from Graphics to Drawings to Typography, Brochures and Cards every single day. There are so many articles and features on this site that you could probably spend hours, possibly even days just looking at them! Not a bad thing though if the end result is a little boost to your own creativity.
