Top 5 Time Management Apps

by Startacus Admin
Whoever first said that time is our most precious commodity was certainly right. At one point or another most of us end up wishing there were more hours in the day and no matter how hard we may try we may not always get through all the things we planned. Whether you’re trying to start a business while juggling a full time job or simply trying to find the time to do that hobby you really love, we know it’s not easy. Some of us may be more organised than others and manage to do it all, whilst some of us...well...perhaps the less said the better!
If managing your time is a struggle, maybe an app could help! We’ve done the hard work and saved you some time (*groan) by choosing our Top 5 Time ManagementApps. So...in no particular order:
RescueTime
Already a big player as a desktop application, RescueTime is a brilliant app for helping you keep track of how you spend your time and identifying where you are wasting it. By analysing what you are doing whether it’s emailing or updating your social networks, RescueTime can help you see what is keeping you from being productive. If for example you pick up your phone to read and reply to an email and then get sidetracked into reading Twitter for half an hour, it knows. Having accurate analysis and feedback on how you spend your time is one sure way of learning how better to make use of it. Currently available for Android, RescueTime has 2 versions available - a free option and a Pro account.
Time Balance
TimeBalance is another Android app which allows you to track your time and thereby start to make better use of your day. Whether it’s work, family time, sleep or exercise, you can create daily or weekly lists of your activities and be notified when you need to start or stop a particular activity. Time Balance provides you with a graphical report where you can easily identify where your shortfallings are and thereby set yourself new targets to make amends. One particularly useful feature is the ability to set duration limits on your activities and be notified when you exceed them. No chance of getting carried away then! Time Balance currently costs £0.92 from the Play store.
