Top 5 Business apps for Blackberry

by Startacus Admin
3. Evernote - Once again, Evernote makes an appearance on our top 5. Taking notes on your Blackberry to have them appear as if by magic across multiple devices is essential in this day and age. It supports pictures, recorded notes and various file formats too. Great also for sharing between multiple users. Sadly, our preferred note sharing application, Google docs, missed out on this slot due to it’s not too great interface and clunky way of working on the majority of Blackberry. Shame.
4. Wordpress - Writing, updating and viewing your Wordpress hosted website is a cinch with Blackberry’s Wordpress app. Very straightforward and foolproof. Does exactly what it says on the description page.
5. Twitter - The official Twitter application when initially launched on Blackberry didn’t stand up to much; very much the web version of the site in an application. But it has improved, and by a massive stretch. Twitter applications have really been optimised for the touchscreen era, and Blackberry phones such as the Torch and the Bold have taken advantage of this. They’ve also integrated into their non-touchscreen phones very well, and they’ve put a lot of effort into making sure that it is just as good.
Thats the Startacus’ offices favourite Blackberry apps for business. Again, it’s all soon going to change though with the upcoming launches of new devices, and more excitingly, a completely overhauled OS. Once that happens, Startacus will be investigating to bring you the cream of the crop of business applications.
If you have a Blackberry, and have a ‘can’t do without’ application, let us and the rest of the Startacus community know over in our forum.
If however you're more of an Android or Apple fan, we've featured our fave business apps for those too.
