Top 5 Business apps for Blackberry

by Startacus Admin
The original daddy of business phones, RIM's Blackberry have dozens of phones on the market right now.
It isn't a secret that RIM are struggling at the moment, and quickly losing momentum to the giants of the smartphone world. However with their new operating system; Blackberry 10 en route, they're pegging their hopes on it reviving them and putting them back at the top of the pile.
But there's no denying, they've made some cracking devices over the years. Great battery life, BBM (Blackberry Messenger), push emails to name a few.
So let's bring BB back to business, with Startacus' 5 favourite business apps.
1. BBM - Ok... Generally this application is built into all of Blackberry phones, but once you use it, you rely on it. Offering instant messaging between Blackberrys for free, it was the original, long before Whatsapp and the like were dreamt of.
2. Blackberry Protect - Not just great for business use; but essential for anybody using a Blackberry device. This application backs everything up, like your names, numbers, addresses, notes, pictures etc onto the Blackberry server, so if the unthinkable happens and you drop your phone into your tea and it goes kaput; your data is safely tucked away securely, so you’re able to get it all back if and when you get a new’un. Phew!
