Tines - transform your workflows

by Startacus Admin
Tines is a Dublin-based startup that automates those repetitive workflows so you can get on with all the other stuff!
We have written only recently about another startup with a platform to consolidate workers’ tools and tabs and browser windows into one place - and about how many times we’ve written about such startups (is this Inception yet?) - but there is still plenty that can be done to make the more monotonous parts of everyday work life simpler, quicker, and perhaps even automated.
These are the parts of the day that give you line hypnosis, Groundhog Day syndrome (probably a thing), and make you question how the multitude of borderline miracles that all had to occur in perfect synchronicity in order for human life to evolve on Earth led you to be doing this. Yes, we need an automation platform that lets us sit back and ponder the fabric of reality and the meaning of life. Or to do other work.
Dublin-based startup Tines has been hard at work creating a platform to automate those repetitive workflows so that you can concentrate on the important things, like refilling the coffee machine and cultivating your client base.
Tines is no-code automation software, which means that it doesn’t take technical expertise to implement and integrate into your toolset or to use.
The platform boils everything down to just 7 actions that the user needs to learn in order to be able to set up the automation, whether it’s automatically pulling in user information from an email or their device to create a user profile, or sending out bug alerts to the applicable employees and creating a bug ticket, Tines can automate even complex workflows without getting engineers involved to set it all up.
Tines recently announced that it has raised $26 million in funding from venture capital investors, led by Addition, whose creator, Lee Fixel, took a seat on the board as part of the round. This brings the startup’s total valuation to a nice round $300 million.
Bit by bit, employers are realising that they get more from their employees, who in turn get more from their job, if they are treated more like humans than machines; utilising a platform like Tines to automate frustratingly monotonous tasks can go a long way towards creating a more pleasant, and therefore productive, work day.
