Time to Start Eating Allplants

by Startacus Admin
The startup that prepares & delivers plant-powered dinners anywhere in the UK.
Having just written about healthy vending machine and snack box startup Healthy Nibbles, we thought it would be a good time to talk about another healthy food delivery startup!
This time, we’re covering full meals. Those things that there never seems to be time at the end of a busy day to actually stand and prepare, cook, and eat. When we have days like this, we often turn to either the takeaway menu or a frozen microwave meal. Too much of this is not only unhealthy but can lead to lowered energy levels, making us even less likely to make good food. So why not have a healthy solution on hand for these days?
When London-based brothers JP and Alex decided to try an all-plant diet, they found themselves feeling and looking healthier and full of energy. The obvious next step for them was to try to inspire others to take up the same diet.
They set up Allplants not to preach about how much healthier a plant-based diet is, but to make it more accessible and convenient for people. Created by a nutritionist and crafted by restaurant chefs, Allplants’ vegan meals are freshly prepared and immediately frozen to lock in the nutrition.
They are then delivered to your door in sustainable packaging and a freeze box by a carbon neutral delivery service - which also happens to be free on weekdays! All you need to do is warm the meals up in the microwave or oven as you would with your normal, unhealthy, extra-salted ready-meal.
Allplants’ meals are all vegan, 100% plant-based, and spice- and gluten-free options are available on top of that. All dishes have between 10-20g of protein and are packed full of the nutrients you’d expect from fruits and vegetables.
Over the next year, Allplants will be expanding, thanks in large part to an £800,000 venture-round investment from Felix Capital.
This kind of investment is a testament to how the push for a healthier, planet-friendly diet is a social movement and lifestyle choice, not just a fad. Of course, you don’t have to make the move to an entirely vegan diet to enjoy the convenience and healthiness of Allplants’ meals - just be someone who wants a convenient and healthy meal!
