Thyngs - innovation in payments

by Startacus Admin
The lowdown on Thyngs, the Fintech startup that is transforming any physical item into a virtual payment point...

Norwich-based Thyngs is dedicated to bringing together the worlds of digital and physical to push exactly this kind of innovation.
Their solutions take advantage of the technology already built into every smartphone to create multiple points of engagement. From simple shortening of URLs for quicker and easier input, to QR codes, to NFC engagement, Thyngs lays down that bridge between the physical and digital.
Thyngs provides everything necessary, including ready-made mobile experiences. To keep track of marketing, payment, or loyalty programmes pushed through these means, the dashboard provides in-depth tracking and reporting, analytics, simple management tools, and easy integration with popular payment providers.
In 2018, Thyngs was selected as one of the first 20 early-stage businesses to enter the new Tech Nation fintech growth programme. The new 5-month programme will allow Thyngs to work with and learn from some of the most talented fintech entrepreneurs in the UK on key topics such as the scaling, partnerships with incumbents, regulations, and international expansion. It will end with a trip to the US and the opportunity to establish a network of potential investors and partners. Not bad for 5 months.
The Royal British Legion is the latest to take up Thyngs tech to help them along, and if a typical 95-year-old can start using the technology of the immediate future, then so can any business.
