The Winner of the Startacus Ad Space Competition is...

You can't have failed to notice that over the last couple of weeks we have had a rather great little competition on the go for all you fab startup folks.
Ever on the hunt to provide enterprising individuals with a bit of positive promo we thought it’d be a nice idea to give a little free advertising space on Startacus.net to one of the startups in our online community.
We asked anyone who would like an 200 x 200 sidebar advertisement for their business to appear on our homepage for 1 month to update their member status with #StartacusSpace and a reason why they should win the free ad space.
Needless to say we were met with a veritable stampede of tweets, status updates and even a few rather flattering emails...
Now the time has come, the magical Startacus hat of fortune is out once again, your names have all been thrown in and we can now reveal that the winner is…Ben Lattimore of hewoco
hewoco is the brainchild of Startacus member Ben Lattimore. Ben founded hewoco last year, as a response to what he thought are the often
crippling prices that many startups and small businesses pay for web design and web agency work. A startup itself, we liked the idea that an advert on Startacus advertising hewoco might go someway to helping other good self starting folk (maybe you) on their startup journeys too.With a tagline of "Get a unique website package with everything you need to start a new business - just £25 per month." and a pitch to Startacus from Ben highlighting that he was hoping to win advertising space on Startacus to help others get their exciting projects online we think we have made a wise and apt choice in selecting Ben and hewoco as the competition winner!
