The UK Best Mobile Health-App Competition - call for entries

by Startacus Admin
If you’re involved in app development - and specifically app development within the mobile health sector, then a recently launched comp by UK Trade and Investment, PatientView and techUK would be well worth a look.
The main purpose of the UK Best Mobile Health-App Competition is to help mobile health app developers get recognition for the work that they do in what is becoming an increasingly competitive marketplace.
Entering the comp is pretty straightforward and simply requires completion of an online form before the deadline of 5pm on Friday 19th December. Yep it’s that close!
Finalists will then be selected and be given the chance to pitch their innovative ideas and products to a prestigious judging panel of business leaders.
The overall winner will then be given a free entry pass to the Mobile World Congress which takes place in Barcelona in March 2015. Even better than that though is the fact that the winner will also be able to present at the UKTI’s Mobile Health Stand at said event. When you consider that the MWC is typically attended by over 85000 delegates, it’s an opportunity not to be missed. After all, just think of the publicity, promo and networking opportunities that will exist.
If you’re thinking of applying, remember time is of the essence so don’t delay! Complete that entry form and then cross those fingers!
Best of luck to any of you who do! We’ll be rooting for ya!
