The Space - Open Call

by Startacus Admin
If you’re the creative type, then the latest Open Call for The Space would be well worth a look. For any of you who may not be aware, The Space is a free online space for artists and audiences from around the world to create and explore exciting new art.
Right now they’re on the lookout for projects from artists from a range of industries and sectors - from the creative and digital side of things through to the art and culture arena. The projects or ideas that they’re seeking must be original and innovative, must exist on the internet and must be capable of being experienced through mobile and tablet devices.
If you’re not an individual artist but instead work for an organisation in the creative, digital, arts or technology sectors, you can still apply provided your idea or project meets the other key criteria - namely that it is an innovatove idea which is designed for small screen devices but for mass audience reach.
Entering is straightforward process - simply complete the online form where you essentially pitch your idea and clarify your artistic vision. All entries must be in by 5pm on Friday 14th November and then it’s time for the judges to do their bit. In February 2015 they will announce which lucky entrants are the winners and thereby the recipients of a commission from The Space.
