The Rattle wants to build co-working spaces that rock

by Startacus Admin
We are liking the sound (sorry, puns to continue) of The Rattle, a music industry focused co-working business, that plans to open their first co-working space and studio facility in November 2017 in London.
Founded in January 2017 by MIT technology entrepreneur, MD of global startup accelerator MassChallenge UK, and former Techstars Entrepreneur in residence, Chris Howard, & Ph.D, and acclaimed music producer, writer & major-label performer Bobby Bloomfield, The Rattle wants to build a global network of inspirational co-working spaces (think WeWork) but specifically for artists, tech makers, and entrepreneurs to develop new music and music tech, and to collaborate from the very get-go of their careers.
Currently raising capital via Crowdcube, where they seem to be stumming up a good bit of support, they are on track building a strong London network of artists, music biz, tech, and tech investors, with a pipeline of over 100 potential members for their first Rattle at the secured location of the Tobacco Dock, in East London.
Wanting to ensure artists remain at the heart & soul of the music industry, and understanding that as the old record industry gives way to new tech, artists increasingly ‘startup’ as music companies - their aim is that The Rattle houses all of this innovation and helps it to grow and scale.
Both of the cofounders have strong experience in starting successful companies themselves, and alongside 'Rattle' advisers including Cliff Fluet (Warner Music), Steve Lewis (Virgin Music), and Mark Stevenson (acclaimed author of 'We Do Things Differently'), we can see The Rattle beating the drum for music and music tech focused startups for years to come. We think it might just rock.
Drops the mic.
