The O2 Smarta 100 - Still Time to Enter!

by Startacus Admin
We recently highlighted that entering competitions was a key way of gaining your small business or startup some fab free PR, and with this still in the forefront of our minds, we thought it wise to tell you about an opportunity to do just that - and the chance to win £10k too…
Our friends over at Smarta HQ are once again gearing up for Smarta 100 Awards, their annual celebration of small businesses in the UK and they’ve now extended the deadline for entries to 5pm on Friday 19th September. Here are the details:
Established in 2010 and now in its fifth year, the O2 Smarta 100 looks to celebrate businesses making a real difference and challenging the norms. Rather than looking at accounts and profits, O2 and Smarta look to businesses which engage their customers in new ways, which challenge common perceptions in the way business is done and bring new ideas and innovation to the marketplace.
With £10,000 on offer to the overall winner and a further £1,000 to each of the ten category winners, the awards offer real recognition to those businesses who really make a difference. With alumni including Naked Wines, Crowdcube and Graze, winners of the O2 Smarta 100 are quickly recognized by others in their sectors as being ones to watch.
Since time is of the essence, if you think that this comp sounds right up your street, all the finer details, terms and conditions etc can be found here. Entering will take no more than 10 minutes, and who knows, you too could be at the glitzy award ceremony in November to pick up a glittering prize, and hopefully a bag-full of FREE PR too!
Good luck from Startacus HQ!
And of course, if you’re after a little free PR for your startup, you might want to take a look at some of these options too:
- Be considered for the Startacus Self Starter Awards
- Submit your startup, idea or project to our collaboraiton space
- Undertake your very own self interview (you write your own Q and A’s - handy huh?)
