The National Crowdfunding: 'Deep Impact' Conference - Sheffield and up North

by Startacus Admin
Anyone who follows Startacus on a regular basis will know our long term passion for all things crowdfunding so we're delighted to share the news about a fantastic collaboration between The Crowdfunding Centre and The University of Sheffield which brings the national Crowdfunding: Deep Impact conference to the north for two days. With a Crowdfunding Masterclass on the 12th and the main Deep Impact conference on Thursday 13th November this should make a great impact on the north and midlands and all stations beyond - and especially the startup scene in Sheffield.
Returning for a third time, The National Crowdfunding: Deep Impact Conference, aka Deep Impact III, plays host to a fab line-up of crowdfunding experts and thought leaders, who will as you’d expect, discuss, debate and deliberate on all matters Crowdfunding related!
For many a new startup, crowdfunding quickly becomes a great option for raising that all important finance, hence our regular focus on the very subject.
Crowdfunding is now delivering more than £100,000 of seed funding to new ventures every hour of every day, worldwide. It has now spread across the UK and the world with over 20,000 projects active at any one time - and the UK is now at the forefront of this revolution - growing faster than anywhere on earth.
The National Crowdfunding: Deep Impact Conference is perfect for:
- Entrepreneurs - wishing to accelerate funding and growth and understand the options available
- Business Advisors - who now need to understand the full range of options for clients
- Investors - wishing to understand how this is reshaping entrepreneurialism and investing
- Academics, Educators, or Policy-makers - needing to understand the drivers and directions of this disruptive change
The full conference programme is available here and “the conference will explain WHY and HOW Crowdfunding is disrupting and changing entrepreneurship and investing, the opportunities this is creating and WHAT you can do about them.”
Early Bird tickets are currently available for £75 from the Crowdfunding Deep Impact site - this includes the full day conference, lunch and refreshments.
With the Crowdfunding Masterclass on the 12th and the main Deep Impact conference on Thursday 13th November we look forward to hearing more about both events, and of course hearing all about the big ‘crowd’ of self starters, startup, thinkers, and financiers that attend.
