The Marketest Business Startup Competition is now open

by Startacus Admin
Do you have the entrepreneurial spirit or an innovative business idea? If the answer is YES, then listen up because Marketest are back on the hunt…
Marketest, a leading UK Online Quantitative Market Research company are on a mission to help all you enterprising folk do something with that big (or small) business idea that you’ve got.
The Marketest Business Startup Competition aims to support individuals aged 18+ who have come up with a new business or social enterprise idea that has real market potential. Now in its fourth year, this year’s competition promises to be better than ever.
Up for grabs is a top prize of a tailored and personal market research report for your business plan worth £1k and a runner’s up prize of a market research project worth £500.
All those who enter the competition will be required to produce a concise business analysis on their idea (e.g. development of the idea, USP, competitors, SWOT etc.) A full business plan isn’t expected, but rather a general overview of your business idea to give an indication of its potential future success.
You can also include a video business pitch ( of between 60-90 seconds) along with your application form.
Interested in applying? Simply download the application form from the Marketest site - you’ll also find out all the terms and conditions there too. The deadline for submitting applications is May 16th and the winner will be announced just two weeks later, on May 30th. Best of luck to any of you who enter! We’ll be reporting back in May on who the lucky winners are...
Of course on a final note, we’d also like to wish Marketest all the best with this comp! We’re only too pleased to give them a little plug - after all they’re the lead sponsors for our Startacus Self Starter Awards (which of course you can find out more about here), and they very kindly supported last year’s Self Starter Awards too! Fab folk all round!
