The Irish Times InterTradeIreland Innovation Awards - now taking entries!

by Startacus Admin
If you are a business based in Ireland, either North or South, the recently launched Irish Times InterTradeIreland Innovation Awards might be of interest. The main objective of the awards, which are now in their fourth year, is to recognise and promote the best innovations in businesses of all sizes across the island of Ireland.
Organisations can enter in one of six distinct categories :
- agri food
- life sciences
- green tech
- business services
- social innovation and
- creative industries innovation
If for some reason you feel your business cross a few categories, you do need to enter the one that most closely matches!
Once all applications are in, a shortlist will be drawn up with each shortlisted organisation being asked to deliver a presentation to the judging panel, followed by a Q & A. One winner will then be selected from each category and an overall innovation winner selected.
Each of the category winners will win a €10,000 Irish Times Media deal as well as an iPad complete with subscription to the Irish Times ePaper. The overall winner will receive an Irish Times Media and Communications package worth over €150,000 consisting of high profile advertising and promotion, a Scholarship for the UCD Smurfit School’s Executive Education Programme, business legal advice from Byrne Wallace as well as a state of the art laptop and Irish Times ePaper subscription. Pretty decent prizes, don’t you think?
If you’re interested in applying, you can register your interest now and applications will be accepted until 3 December 2012. If you do apply - best of luck and keep innovating!
