by Startacus Admin
Since we’re slap bang in the middle of our Startup Cities focus on Dublin, we thought there’d be no better time to highlight the fact that The Irish Times Innovation Awards are back and open for business!
For the past five years, the awards have been seeking to celebrate and showcase all things innovative throughout the island of Ireland and this year is no different!
Entries are currently being sought from individuals and organisations, based in both North and South of the country who can demonstrate how they have shown innovation and ingenuity with a product, service or operation between January 1st 2013 and December 1st 2014.
Applications must be submitted in one of the following six categories :
- agri food
- bioscience
- energy and the environment
- creative industries
- manufacturing and
- IT and telecommunications
Winners in each of these categories will win a €10,000 communications package in the Irish Times’ Business and Innovation pages and also an iPad with a one year subscription to The Irish Times ePaper.
As for the overall winner? Well...that lucky person will win a communications package worth over €150,000 consisting of advertising promo across the Business+Innovation pages, a scholarship for an Executive Development programme being run by the UCD Smurfit School and also a state of the art laptop with a one year subscription to The Irish Times ePaper.
Pretty impressive prize package then, don’t you think?
Interested in applying? Firstly, register your interest online and then if you’re deemed eligible, you’ll be able to download your application form. Submit it before the closing date of 5.00 pm on December 1st 2014 and then get those fingers crossed!
Best of luck to any of you who enter!
