The HP Smart Business Awards

by Startacus Admin
Now in their second year, the HP Smart Business Awards have just been launched and once again the organisers are on the lookout for some of the UK’s best small and medium businesses.
There are 6 categories of business that can enter, namely:
- Community: - those small businesses that have become an integral part of their local communities by creating a positive and real difference to its economy or cultural life
- Next generation: those businesses whose owners are 25 or under on 30th August 2013, and who have shown real drive and displayed significant individual leadership
- Skills creation: those small businesses that have made a significant contribution in terms of skills creation
- Business growth: those small businesses that have had the most economic impact in the last year
- Innovation: those small businesses that have shown real innovation in how they develop and deliver their products or services to customers
- Social media: those small businesses that have clearly demonstrated the best use of social media to promote their brand, product or service
There’s another category too though - the HP Smart Business of the Year - this relates to those small businesses that have made the most significant impact over the last 12 months and who the judges feel, truly exemplify what being a smart business is all about.
Winners will receive a whole host of prizes including a variety of HP products as well as of course extensive publicity and recognition.
