The Happy Cafés

by Startacus Admin
Fancy a little serving of positivity and happiness with your morning latte? Then we reckon you ought to pay a visit to your nearest Happy Café.
Don’t assume though that a Happy Café is just a regular café with particularly cheery staff! It’s much much more than that.
In essence it’s a place where people can connect and engage with other people who have a mutual shared interest in happiness and wellbeing.
The overall aim is for Happy Cafés to be spaces where people can come together to inspire and to be inspired and to ultimately become happier people.
The Happy Café concept has been created by supporters of the Action for Happiness movement. For those of you who are unaware, this is a global movement comprising of a community of people who all have a shared passion and focus - they are striving to create a happier society for us all. Selfishness plays no part here!
The UK’s first Happy Café opened in Brighton in late 2014 and there are now 19 such cafés across the UK.
With so many people becoming disillusioned with the materialistic world in which we live, it’s not hard to see why Happy Cafés are on the rise.
It’s a simple little concept but a good one.
Just imagine - little hubs of positivity and happiness all across the country. What’s not to love about that?
