gbeaIt’s that time of year again folks! Time to get your entries in for the Great British Entrepreneur Awards.

Now in their third year, the awards are fast becoming one of the primary benchmarks for real entrepreneurial success in Britain.

What we love about these awards is the fact that they are so inclusive - there are awards across all sectors and size of businesses, so there is bound to be one that would suit you!

This time around there are 16 categories, namely:

  • Great British Entrepreneur of the Year 2015

  • Manufacturer Entrepreneur of the Year 2015

  • Export/International Trade Entrepreneur of the Year 2015

  • Retail Entrepreneur of the Year 2015

  • Digital Entrepreneur of the Year 2015

  • Eco Entrepreneur of the Year 2015

  • Creative Industries Entrepreneur of the Year 2015

  • Fashion Entrepreneur of the Year 2015

  • Social Enterprise (UK) Entrepreneur of the Year 2015

  • Social Enterprise (International) Entrepreneur of the Year 2015

  • Small Business Entrepreneur of the Year 2015

  • Micro Business Entrepreneur of the Year 2015

  • Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2015

  • Start-up Entrepreneur of the Year 2015

  • Service Industries Entrepreneur of the Year 2015

  • Food and Drink Entrepreneur of the Year 2015

  • Entrepreneurs' Champion of the Year 2015

Pretty extensive list wouldn’t you agree? In fact, you may actually find that you could potentially fit more than one category and that’s perfectly fine if you do! Full details of the categories can be found on the GBEA site.

In terms of prizes, with these awards it’s all about the prestige. After all, the publicity and kudos that you’d get from winning would be most certainly invaluable.

Fancy your chances? Simply complete the online form on the GBEA website and then get crossing those fingers!

All entries must be in by 5pm on Friday 31st July 2015 so you admittedly have a little while yet - enough time then to check out the handy tips that the GBEA folk have put together for would-be entrants!

Best of luck to any of you who enter - we’ll be keeping our eyes and ears peeled on this one!
