The FSB WorldPay UK Business Awards

by Startacus Admin
Let’s face it - the most inspiring self starters are the people who are just out there - doing it for themselves - creating and building new businesses from scratch. It’s these guys - people probably just like you in fact - who are really helping us all along the road to that much-feted economic recovery. For their role in that of course they truly deserve rewards and recognition. That, incidentally is the primary aim of the FSB WorldPay UK Business Awards.
The awards are open to businesses throughout the UK from any market sector and there are 4 distinct categories for businesses to enter:
Business Innovation of the Year
This one’s for you if you employ less than 250 people and can demonstrate how an innovation or change which you made to your business model in 2012 or 2013 has delivered real tangible success.
Young Entrepreneur of the Year
This category is open to any UK business where the lead Director is under 30 years old and which has delivered impressive business success during 2012 and 2013.
Micro Business of the Year
Got less than 10 people working for you in a privately owned business? This is for you provided you can demonstrate how your business’ performance has ensured that you have ‘stood out from the crowd.’
Online Business of the Year
If most of your business is undertaken online, then this category’s for you. It’s all about being able to show how your performance in 2012 and 2013 has made you ‘stand head and shoulders above the rest’.
So why enter?
Well apart from the masses of publicity, marketing and promo that is pretty much invaluable, there are also cash prizes of £4500 available for the lucky winners. Interested? Apply directly via the Awards site - bearing in mind all entries must be in by 31 January 2014.
