The D&AD Awards are back

by Startacus Admin
Designers take note - the D&AD Awards are back and they’re looking for creative folk just like you. Since the early 1960’s the awards have helped to inspire a community of creative thinkers by celebrating and stimulating the finest in design and advertising.
The awards are aimed at showcasing and celebrating commercial creativity in the design world and are recognised globally as the “ultimate creative accolade.”
Interested in applying?
Here’s what you need to know.
Firstly, both companies and freelancers alike can apply - provided that they work in the Design, Advertising or Digital arenas and have produced work which has been commercially released between the period of 1 Jan 2014 and 28 February 2015.
Entries can be submitted in a whole host of categories - namely:
Art Direction, Branded Film Content and Entertainment, Book Design, Branding, Crafts for Advertising, Crafts for Design, Digital Design, Digital Marketing, Direct, Film Advertising, Film Advertising Crafts, Graphic Design, Integrated & Innovative Media, Magazine & Newspaper Design, Mobile Marketing, Music Videos, Outdoor Advertising, Packaging Design, Product Design, Press Advertising, Radio Advertising, Spatial Design, White Pencil - Creativity for Good, Writing for Advertising and Writing for Design.

All the specific entry details can be found on the D&AD site itself - the rules, the regulations and a whole lot more besides!
There is a lot of kudos to be had from winning one of these awards and it’d certainly help to raise the profile globally for both you and your work, so if any of you good self starter folk do decide to apply, we wish you the best of luck!
