The CrowdBnk #GreatIdeas competition

by Startacus Admin
It’s all very well having that great idea that you think could become the next big thing. However, sometimes having the cold hard cash to help make it happen is what’s needed more than anything. We all know that funding for startups isn’t always the easiest to come by these days, therefore any initiatives or projects that do their bit to help ought to be welcomed with open arms!
One such initiative is the #GreatIdeas competition which is being run by leading crowdfunding platform CrowdBnk.
The competition is currently seeking people from across the UK to submit their ideas, no matter what stage they are at or what sector the idea may be in. In typical Crowdfunding fashion, the premise then is to get the ‘crowd’ to show their support for your idea. At the end of the competition, winners will receive cash prizes to help get their idea off the ground.
For instance, the idea that manages to secure pledges from the crowd worth £10k the quickest will also win an additional £7k funding from CrowdBnk and the idea that manages to get most sharing and promotion by its supporters through Social Media will also win an additional £3k. Pretty worthwhile prizes we’re sure you’ll agree!
The competition runs until 1st March and there will be an event later that month when all prizes will be awarded.
Admittedly there are just a couple of weeks left, but that’s still plenty of time to make an impact if you can motivate and get your own ‘crowd’ behind you to vocalize their support for your idea.
With a potential £20k post up for grabs, you’d be foolish not to!
Register now via the CrowdBnk site and make that idea a reality...
