The Big Start Up Loans Competition

by Startacus Admin
If your business has got off the ground thanks to the financial support of a Startup Loan, then listen up because this recently launched comp is well worth a look.
The Big Start Up Loans competition aims to award self starters from all across the UK with a range of fab prizes all in return for a little feedback and insight into their startup businesses.
To win the accolade of Startup of the Year, you simply have to answer a few basic questions. Questions, for example, such as “Have you overcome significant problems?”,, “Have you experienced serious growth?” or “Have you done something surprising to your business?”
Nothing too taxing there, we’re sure you’ll agree! This comp is simply about telling your startup story in an inspirational and interesting way.
So why enter? Well although the overall winner’s prize package will include a £5k cash prize and an iMac, there are also a whole host of prizes for regional winners and runners-up including everything from cash awards through to PR packages.
If you’re interested in applying, you’ve got until noon on 1st September to submit your application. Finalists will be announced on 15th September and will be asked to submit a 3 minute video pitch for the judging panel. The winners will then be revealed at the final Award Ceremony Lunch at the Lord Mayor of London’s office in November. Impressive huh?
If your business is where it is today as a result of a Startup Loan, then we reckon you should apply for this comp for sure.
If you do...best of luck!
