An impressive cohort of 30 businesses from across the UK are announced as participants in Tech Nation's inaugural Libra programme for Black and Multiracial Founders

The Tech Nation mission to support innovative UK tech companies continues!

Libra_Icon-300x300.Following on from their recent announcements on the companies participating in their Net Zero, Future Fifty and Applied AI programmes, they have just announced the 30 companies joining their newest growth programme, Libra, which is designed to equip ambitious Black and multiracial (with Black heritage) entrepreneurs with the knowledge, tools and networks they need to scale their business in today’s world.

Black and multiracial founders often face barriers to accessing VC investment which can be directly linked to racial bias - the Libra programme reflects Tech Nation’s commitment to support underrepresented innovators that have an ambition to scale.

The founders of the 30 companies selected for the programme will receive over 60 hours of support, benefit from sessions delivered by established entrepreneurs, and receive mentoring from world-leading scale coaches and peer-to-peer sessions on a range of fundamental growth challenges. The cohort will also be introduced to key stakeholders and decision-makers at corporates, investment firms, government bodies and others during networking events.
