Tech Nation is Born

by Startacus Admin
Tech Nation is born. Tech City UK and Tech North have now merged and as of this week now come under the singular title and banner of 'Tech Nation'.
Now, as the re-launched 'Tech Nation', they are promising to expand their network of growth programmes, events, skills and data resources to reach all corners and clusters of the UK.
We reported on the Tech City UK / Tech North merger to Tech Nation back in December - and their plans to become the not-for-profit Tech Nation, continuing their work of connecting tech hubs (or clusters, as they are calling them) across 11 regions.
Tech Nation, formally known as Tech City UK and Tech North, have championed, supported and empowered UK tech entrepreneurs, startups and scaleups in a number of ways over the last few years, from growth programmes, upskill training, visa schemes, and data, case studies and outreach work. Now, the team have just finished a listening tour to meet representatives from the UK’s tech scene and to better understand how best they can shape their new national network to meet those challenges.
Admittedly in terms of launch and branding, they are still a wee bit behind compared to official launch, but there is a promise of a Tech Nation website later this month (April 18), with the Tech Nation Report for 2018 to follow in May and a Nationwide 'tour' taking place between May and September.
Best of luck to the newly formed Tech Nation - Startacus (that's us), with a community & audience of startups and entrepreneurs across the UK and NI, Ireland and further afield, we are happy to see how we can best collaborate and support your endevours going forward.
