Tech Entrepreneurs Week - not long to go!

by Startacus Admin
There seems to be a plethora of conferences and summits at the moment directly aimed at the startup sector, although some seem to far outweigh others in terms of what they offer potential attendees. One of the best aimed specifically at the “technology” startup is the upcoming Tech Entrepreneurs Week.
This London based event which is being held over 4 days between 26th and 29th November will see technology entrepreneurs and investors alike coming together to participate in conferences, workshops and seminars.
It’s not always that easy when you are starting a tech business to meet directly with the types of investors that potentially could really help to get your business off the ground or even help take it to the next stage. After all, many of the usual potential sources of business finance to know more about traditional “bricks and mortar” type startups and fall short of fully grasping tech startups and innovations. That’s another reason why Tech Entrepreneurs Week is so unique - the investors who attend fully “get” tech and all it entails.
If your startup is in any aspect of the technology sector - from software and hardware backgrounds through to web services and mobile apps, you are welcome to attend.
Over the course of the event, you will not only have the opportunity to network both formally and informally with investors; but you will also be able to listen to some amazing Keynote Speakers, receive one to one coaching and advice from leading Industry Advisors and also develop your own knowledge and skills through attending some innovative Industry Seminars and workshops.
If that wasn’t enough to whet your appetite, there are also 2 amazing competitions that you can enter:
- The Seed Investment competition which is open to any startup seeking to raise less than £500,000 and The Venture Competition which is open to any startup seeking to raise over £500,000.
If you are interested in applying for either of these, you can do so right now! Heats will take place over the course of the event itself and will culminate in final heats deliberated over by some of the UK’s leading Tech Angels and Venture Capitalists.
Pretty impressive stuff, don’t you think? As you would imagine, tickets for an event like this, don’t come cheap, although there are several ticket options available. All in all, although it might seem a tad expensive to attend Tech Entrepreneurs Week, what you could gain in terms of networking and potential investment could make it well worth it...
