Suitcase Startup

by Startacus Admin
It may be a cliché but it’s still fair to say that starting a business is a bit like going on a bit of an awkward journey. You might have an end destination in mind but getting there isn’t necessarily straightforward. All sorts of obstacles and diversions can mean that you end up going an entirely different route to the one you originally planned, all the while learning as you go.Well, one startup entrepreneur is taking that journey concept quite literally and taking his startup from his bedroom in North Wales all the way to London. “Not that far”, you may say, “lots of people relocate or travel every day for work”. Yes, that’s true, but not too many choose to run their business from a suitcase and make their way with no money, no accommodation and no office - because that is exactly what Chris Bradley is doing with Suitcase Startup.
Where the whole thing gets really interesting though is the fact that Chris is documenting his journey online and posting videos of all the steps he is taking towards getting a business off the ground in London. The advice he receives, the people he meets and all the things that happen along the way are being shared. Chris is already halfway through his journey and has uploaded 4 videos so far (with the 5th due to be released today). The videos cover everything from Marketing on a Shoestring through to Raising Finance.

Suitcase Startup
