Voiced by Stephen Fry, ‘Einstein on Time’ will be the first in a children’s educational app series – “Human Heroes” - centred on history’s greatest minds.
Due for release 7th December 2018, ‘Einstein on Time’ is the first in a children’s educational app series – “Human Heroes”- centred on history’s greatest minds. From the
In addition to the educational value of the subjects covered in each individual app, the series aims to develop a deep-lasting bond between the user and these intellectual champions so that they become life-long role models for children.
Created by edtech startup KalamTech and in collaboration with education experts, the app blends computer generated animations, latest gamification techniques and interactive storytelling to bring a fresh kind of learning experience to the next generation. Complimenting the high-quality game cinematics is the app’s bespoke music score created by sound designer and composer Marc Sylvan.
Albert Einstein, the 20th century most iconic genius, is presented in this app as a realistic yet quirky digital 3d character. A sock-less, dancing ‘virtual tutor’, he responds to players’ input with contextually relevant information and guide them through the multiple STEM themed mini games.
Commenting on the inspiration for the app, Human Heroes founder, Ranim Nahhas, said:
“I had come to a time in my life where I was looking for more purpose and meaning. I wanted a chance to fulfil my own potential while making a valuable contribution to the society in which I belong. I consider myself privileged to have been exposed to the arts and science early in my life and I regard the Human Heroes series as my contribution to the generation coming after me. I truly believe education is the grand solution for most of humanity’s problems. And as Einstein himself once said: “The value of an education is not the learning of many facts, but the training of the mind to think something that cannot be learned from textbooks.”
Forthcoming Human Heroes apps due for release include Isaac Newton, Marie Curie, Mozart, Lada Lovelace, Aristotle, Jane Austin.
We only just found out about this coming-soon app via their press release published via Journolink and fair play to the team for getting Stephen Fry to do the voice over for the first app in the series too! We look forward to seeing how the app series develops.
