Startup Rally drives the startup point home

Setting off on the 12th August from London, Startup Rally will visit 9 European cities - all notorious for having strong startup scenes, in just a 19 day period.
Startup Rally aims to break ‘local tech bubbles’, by visiting 9 European cities - all notorious for having a strong startup scene and to build networks and communication between the cities and the visiting startup rally participants.
Leaving London on August 12th, the Startup Rally gang will accelerate through 9 European cities over a 19 day period.
All the startups will have the chance to meet industry leaders - gaining valuable insight and advice and also be give the opportunity to pitch to angels, VCs, and incubators in each of the 9 cities they visit. An accelerator of a trip we think!
The organisers, Leto, a London based Digital Innovation Agency, who specialise in Apps for startups and businesses, identified that whilst there are pockets of real entrepreneurial activity and enterprise, those ‘bubbles’ of innovation rarely get the chance to share, chat and learn from one another.
Keeping the not too subtle ‘car’ analogies and puns going, it’s a chance to park some ideas, move others on, and keep the engine burning at the same time - whilst taking the odd pit stop along the way.
A valuable and worthwhile core aim we reckon and since our own platform is aiming to inspire self starters to connect together and to share best practice and opportunity, we reckon the organisers deserve a good ol’ fashioned high five.
The proof of course is often in the pudding and since we always like to hear first hand stories from self starters, we’re today giving an open call out to any of the startups who will take the trip to tell their tale right here on Startacus. Give us a shout at iam@startacus.net if you fancy telling us about your Startup Rally journey and the ups and downs your startup takes along the way - even a day to day diary would be fab!And don't panic - its not too late to register for the events - so get your skates on and check out all the Startup Rally details if you are interested in getting your startup involved in proceedings.
