Startup of the Week - YardLynk

by Startacus Admin
YardLynk, The online marketplace that's on a mission to make plant and tool hire simple, fast and cost-effective.
As anyone involved in the construction industry will vouch for, hiring equipment or tools for a job isn’t always plain sailing. It can be a time consuming affair and as we all know in this sector in particular, time = money!
Help is now at hand however thanks to our latest startup of the week who, having recognised this very problem, have now come up with the perfect solution.
YardLynk is an online marketplace aimed at improving how construction equipment is rented out - they are basically getting rid of the hassle!
Here’s how YardLynk works:
Users simply search on the platform for the plant or tools they require and the location of their job or project. They can then either reserve the equipment or make a booking.
Equipment can be delivered to the location of the job or users can collect it from one of the depots in YardLynk’s network. Once a job has been completed, it can either be collected or returned directly to the hiring depot.
It’s a pretty straightforward process and it can save contractors both time and money.
The range of equipment available to hire is expanding all the time and there is currently everything from a forklift truck to an orbital sander featured in the YardLynk marketplace. As you’d expect, all the equipment featured is high quality, professional kit.
In essence then, YardLynk is a one stop shop for contractors to fully meet all their plant hiring needs.
It helps them to source the equipment, facilitates the booking, co-ordinates the delivery and even covers the insurance - whilst of course saving them money and that oh so precious commodity - time.
What’s not to love about that then...
