Startup of the Week - Wilderness Now

by Startacus Admin
Are you the adventurous sort? Always on the look-out for something new and exciting to do? Forever searching for something to get the adrenaline pumping and make you feel alive?
If you’ve answered yes, then we reckon you’re going to be a huge fan of our latest Startup of the Week.
Wilderness Now is an online platform with a focus on promoting outdoor activities and adventures in the UK.
All sorts of activities are featured on the platform so there really is something for everyone!
Whether you’re into Mountaineering or Rock Climbing, Surfing or Diving, you can use the platform to check out what’s available and where.
At present Wilderness Now is more of a general online resource providing info on what’s out there, however there are plans afoot to develop it into a platform where users can link directly with outdoor activity guides, accommodation and travel providers.
As with all platforms of this ilk, the more listings it has, the better it becomes. At present Wilderness Now are addressing this by having an open call for experienced guides to link with them. If you or someone you know would fit the bill, then we suggest you do just that by registering your interest!
It’s admittedly still early days for Wilderness Now but we think it’s definitely one to watch...
If you're interested in finding out about other new and innovative startups, why not check out our previous Startup of the Week or perhaps check out how you can be considered for our next Startup of the Week.
